Aston Martin V12 Zagato Sounds Great in the US

At the same California event where the Aston Martin One-77 was filmed, CarsandCoffeeIrvine also got to see another rare Aston Martin, one that comes standard with a lot of Italian coachbuilt flavor. Britain’s famous automotive brand planned a series of exclusive celebratory events around the famed automotive week in Monterey, California, from August 17 to 21.
We’ve been covering this exclusive Aston coachbuilt creation ever since its debut at the prestigious Villa D’Este Concours in Italy earlier this year, where the car won the award for Design in the Concepts and Prototypes class.

Only a few weeks after that, it dropped its concours clothing and became a racer for the grueling 39th ADAC Nurburgring 24 Hour race in Germany.

Aston will build a limited production run of the stunning two-door model. Orders have begun being taken some months ago, and while the car costs £330,000 (about $530,000), this is cheap considering only 150 examples will ever be made.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
