Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Perfection Caught on Film

There's little one can say about the Aston Martin V12 Vantage that doesn't seem a bit personal in nature. The model, as it happened with previous Aston Martin models in the past, has something to it that makes any sort of objective look approach useless, redundant and, above all, meaningless.

And a car the likes of the Vantage is worthy of a presentation to match. The video you'll see below is a perfect fit. Created by Emmy Award winner Josh Bodnar, with the help of Los Angeles-based studio Gentleman Scholar, the clip has been designed as a dream.

Combining filming techniques worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster, somewhat resembling the dark, sharp feel of Gotham City with a music that seems ripped right off the sound track of Inception (a soundtrack that has been created from scratch especially for the clip, if we are to trust the word on the web), the clip brings to life the shimmering shapes of the vantage in an urban environment, surrounded by cars that, all of a sudden disappear into the background.

Having seen a huge pile of videos involving cars, we like to think we can spot a well done job from time to time. And this video, called “Aston Martin Reverie,” is one of the best. Apparently, having a professional doing a professional's job pays off, in the end.

We could go into all those numbers that make up the physical side of the Vantage. But we won't. Because, this time, it's not about what the car can do. It's about what the car can make you feel.
