British sportscar manufacturer Aston Martin has posted a post-tax loss of £24.6 million (€29 million / $39.3 million) in 2012, The Telegraph reports, £3.4 million (€4 million / $5.4 million) more compared to the previous year.
The loss was reportedly caused by the market segment which “has been severely affected by recession” and the “weakness in European markets and vehicle launches occurring in the fourth quarter”. Last year, Aston Martin sales went down nine percent to 67,500 units from 110,000 vehicles in 2007.
