It’s been nearly 100 years since the founding of Aston Martin and they are developing a special car to celebrate their birthday next year. It’s not going to be a one-off concept, but a totally new production car.
According to the CEO of Aston Martin, Dr. Ulrich Bez, the car will be a completely new proposition and not a special edition of any of their current models. He also says that the car will not be an ultra-exclusive car like the One-77, but a more mainstream car.
Furthermore, Bez ignored critics which accused Aston Martin of making their cars too similar by saying that design works better through evolution and not through permanent change. He also gave the One-77, the Rapide and the Cygnet as examples and proof that they can and do offer different-looking and varied types of cars.
