Aston Martin One-77 and V12 Zagato US Debut to Take Place in Monterey

A couple of stunners from Aston Martin’s jaw dropping line will make their US debuts this week, as Britain’s famous automotive brand plans a series of exclusive celebratory events around the famed automotive week in Monterey, California, from August 17 to 21.

The unveiling process will start with the V12 Zagato making the rounds tomorrow, Wednesday August 17, at McCall’s Motorworks Revival.

We’ve been covering this exclusive Aston coachbuilt creation ever since its debut at the prestigious Villa D’Este Concours in Italy earlier this year, where the car won the award for Design in the Concepts and Prototypes class.

Only a few weeks later, it dropped the concours frock in favor of racing overalls when it was entered in the the gruelling 39th ADAC Nurburgring 24 Hour race in Germany.

And it’s not like Aston is just going to show it to people in order to wet their appetite, as last month, the company announced the model will enter limited production.

Moving on, the One-77 will get its big unveil at The Aston Martin Estate - an exquisite private venue, situated high above Carmel with panoramic views across the Monterey Bay.

“Guests will be given the rare opportunity to test drive our latest model range, including the new Virage and Vantage S, as well as the four-door Rapide,”
commented Julian Jenkins, Vice President Aston Martin the Americas.  "We are very excited about the program this year including the debut of the V12 Zagato, and we look forward to welcoming current owners, new customers and automotive enthusiasts to share our celebrations at The Aston Martin Estate."
