Aston Martin Entering the Swedish Market in Early 2010

The beginning of 2010 will see Sweden’s first Aston Martin dealership inaugurated in Stockholm. The development is a joint venture between the British company and Swedish luxury car retailer Callisma.

The showroom will be located just north of Stockholm, in the suburb of Danderyd, inside a recently built 1700 square meter gallery-style structure. It will of course meet the company’s corporate identity standards and will benefit from the support of a dedicated service facility. The entire Aston Martin Range will be available for the Swedish market : Vantage, DB9, DBS and the Rapide.

“The Callisma portfolio has enjoyed a long-standing experience in the luxury segment and I am confident we have selected the strongest partner in this new market. Sweden is an important step in the expansion of our global dealership network, and brings Aston Martin to the doorstep of many new customers throughout the region,” declared Michael van der Sande, Aston Martin Chief Commercial Officer.

“We strongly believe in the Aston Martin brand and products and we see a very high demand on the Swedish market as customers have been waiting for Aston Martin to enter this market for some time,”
added Fred Mannerfelt, CEO Callisma.

This new market entrance is part of Aston Martin’s global expansion plan, bringing the total number of company dealerships to 47. The following markets to be accessed, also in early 2010, are Poland and Greece.
