The DBS Volante features a retractable fabric roof that closely follows the silhouette of the DBS Coupe. The lightweight top gets fully retracted in 14 seconds, and can do so at speeds of up to 30 mph (48 km/hour) without the driver having to stop and chase it down the highway as it flies off.
Volante draws its power from a hand-built 6.0l V12 engine producing 510 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. It that allows the car to race at a top speed of 191 miles per hour (307 km/hour) and hit sixty in 4.3 seconds.
The engine is controlled via a rear-mounted six speed manual gearbox. It is a standard feature, but buyers can also choose to fit the car with a "Touchtronic" six speed automatic. In case of an emergency, Volante comes to a sudden stop thanks to the carbon ceramic breaks.

The Volante is the 16th convertible in the manufacturers' 95 years of existence. The model will be built at Aston Martin’s headquarters at Gaydon, Warwickshire. Market release date is set to sometimes in late summer. If you want to know how much it costs, you will have to wait until March 3rd, the day the Volante first meets its fans.
