2013 has been a very productive year for Aston Martin in term of concept cars, as they’ve already built three gorgeous vehicles: the CC100 and the DBS and DB9 Centennial Editions by Zagato. All for one simple reason - the British company’s 100th anniversary.
We figure Aston Martin has no more surprises up its sleeve for the rest of the year, but Azerbaijani designer Samir Sadikhov has just come up with a very interesting proposal, which, if you ask us, could’ve been a great anniversary supercar if penned and built by the automaker itself.
We’re talking about the Aston Martin DBC, a mid-engined supercar that sports a design which blends some of the company’s familiar cues with a fresh and at the same time aggressive body shape. Sadikhov explains that “his key objective was to produce a thoroughly modern Aston Martin. Another aim was to ensure that the exterior layout and equipment were unique to Aston Martin and could be easily carried over into the production car.”
