Aston Martin is preparing a bouquet of special editions for the Geneva Motor Show and we’re here to talk about the DB9 and DB9 Volante Carbon.
Both the coupe and the open-air version can be ordered in one of the two available colors, Carbon Black and Stratus White. Both keep the standard 6.0-liter V12 unit, which means you get 510 hp.

As for the carbon fiber treatment, the exterior pieces include the front splitter, mirror caps, Aston’s characterisitc side strakes, taillight elements and rear diffuser. Climbing aboard, we find the material on the dashboard trim, gearsihft paddle tips (the paddles use titanium) and door handles. What’s more, you can have contrasting stitching in red, silver or yellow.

Alas, the door entry sills, which spell “Carbon Black/White” are not actually made of carbon. Oh dear...

By the way, Aston's other special edition is a more serious development, the V8 Vantage N430.
