Aston Martin DB11 Spotted Rocking the Nurburgring With Two Sets of Camouflage

While the Aston Martin DB9 awaits its successor, the British marque is focused on keeping the DB11 test mule busy on the Nurburgring. And things are pretty intense, judging by the video you are about to see.

The DB11's success will be pretty much decided by the technical updates made by the British carmakers during pre-launch tests. Therefore, testing is crucial; consider the supercar an athlete, who has to train hard before entering various competitions.

What do we know so far about the Aston Martin DB11?

Before going into specifics, we must mention an important detail: Mercedes-Benz will provide twin-turbo V12 engines for Aston Martin. And these units will also power the successor of the Aston Martin DB9, the so-called DB11.

However, the exact amount of power stored under the car's hood is unknown at the moment. Nevertheless, we can anticipate it will pack somewhere between 530 and 630 HP since Mercedes-Benz uses its vee-twelves on 600 and 65 AMG models.

But Mercedes is also providing a specially tuned 730 HP 6.0-liter V12 for Pagani's Huayra, and we can't help but wonder if the Brits will receive the same preferential treatment from the Germans - for the right amount of money, of course.

Of course, we could keep on speculating and say an 'entry level' Aston Martin DB11 will feature the 4.0-liter V8 that already made a debut on the AMG GT and AMG C63 performance vehicles. But at this point, it's still too early to tell.

Unfortunately, the heavy-camouflaged outer shell of the DB11 is not telling much about the production car's looks. The sleek element is there, but without a clear view of the car's edges there's no point in insisting on the topic. However, we'll let you have some eye candy in the shape of renderings hinting at how the DB11 might look like.
