There's an Aston Martin DB11 craze going on right now here at autoevolution after our world was turned upside down following the latest set of spyshots showing a prototype mule during circuit testing.
In addition, our carparazzi confirmed that DB9's successor will feature a twin-turbo V12 powerplant from Mercedes-Benz. So, this means Ford is out of the picture, and the future will sound different for Aston. Literally.

After all those pictures showing kaleidoscopic camouflage on the test mule, not to mention the recent debate centered around what powerplant will the DB11 receive, we ended up with a headache. But that only lasted until we stumbled upon a set of rendering showing the one and only DB11.

They're far from being official design work from Gaydon, but we have to admit there's a lot of talent behind them. Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa is the creative mind behind these renderings, also known as VanaticalFoxes on deviantART.

You need to know Jennarong comes from Thailand, and he aspires to start his own automotive company. While pursuing his dream, the young artist designs "various automotive concepts". That's how he got to show the world his vision on the upcoming Aston Martin DB11 and once again, I'll say they're a jaw-dropping example of how design studies should be done.

Here's what he has to say about his recent work:

"The Gorgeous DB11 Volare concept is a design study of the beauty of continuation, with lines that run from the headlight into the rear diffuser, and from the front splitter into the rear lights, designed to be the successor of the DB9."

On a closer look, we can see some styling cues take from the Aston Martin CC100 speedster concept while the rear end seems imported from the DB10. Either way, there's a great deal of eye-candy in the photo gallery, so feel free to tell us what you think.
