You know, it's a good problem to have when too many people turn up to the private party for your brand-new sports coupe. After being presented at the Geneva Motor Show, the Aston Martin DB11 flew all the way across the pond for its Beverly Hills debut earlier this month. Shock: this car has a rump like KK, TMZ has the photos!
The DB11 will be replacing the DB9. They skipped the 10 to make that James Bond car and also god rid of the naturally aspirated V12, replacing it with Aston's twin-turbo 5.2-liter making 600 horsepower. So what about the AMG engines you've heard about? Well, they will come a little later and will be the only way you can enjoy the 4.0-liter from the AMG GT with a manual gearbox.

The DB11 is perfect for Beverly Hills, where people value beauty and prefer not to have twitch performance. Still, the Aston will do over 200 miles per hour and take the 0 to 60 stride in under 4 seconds.

Obviously, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and even the Audi R8 now have more power. But this is a classy GT, not a real supercar. Aston is responsible for taking British car design even further than the Jaguar F-Type. Everything is made with sharp lines and long creases.

Anyway, this launch event provides us with a good look at the new Aston Martin DB11 in its new orange color. We've seen it in Geneva, but outdoor light is always different. The designers created a very sharp crease at the back that plays with the light gradient. It can be seen from a mile away. We also get a closer look at the engine, thanks to a "dissected" version of the car and many new customization options. Of course, the ladies were also eager to check out the DB11, perhaps thinking what it would be like to become the next Bond girl.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
