There has never been a better way to sell a premium citicar car like the smart fortwo, MINI Cooper or Citroen DS3 than collaborating with a big fashion house or releasing a factory-customized version. Aston Martin has recently jumped onto this bandwagon grabbing the Cygret by the scruff of the neck so it cooperates while having its nails painted blue by Paris fashion house colette.

The end result is called the Cygnet & colette, and arrives on the scene as a limited edition model. A striking combination of Lightning Silver exterior finish highlighted by exclusive colette blue styling details will make the Cygnet stand out at any fashion show. The blue hue was added to the grille, mirror caps and the diamond turned alloys.

The interior is even more attentively detailed, featuring details that draw inspiration from the world of chocolate, as colette’s mascot is a hocolate-brown Labrador called Oscar. Every piece of leather features a quilted pattern on it: the doors, seat inserts, the Alcantara on the sun visors. There’s even matching pillows in the back, colored in the same blue as the outside, and some ‘Cygnet & colette’ branding on satellite navigation start up.

14 examples of the ‘Cygnet & colette’ city car will be hand-crafted via the company’s ultimate personalization service - Aston Martin Works Tailored - that offers all the customization options you could want through the marque’s world famous Works Service facility.

“Aston Martin and colette are both cool brands that successfully blend modernity and innovation. It made perfect sense to work together and create this limited piece of automotive fashion for the city. The colette car is the first of the exclusive ‘Cygnet &’ collaborations. These cars will give Aston Martin a relevant platform to reach out to new customers in urban areas,” said Aston Martin Director of Design, Marek Reichman.
