Spain isn’t exactly one of the most automotive-gifted countries in the world, is it? There’s VW Group’s SEAT and then there's.... a.... ? OK, there are also other Spanish carmaker, but none of them is a major one. However, we also love small automakers, as these usually release special vehicles.
In fact, this is why we’re here - to talk about Spanish carmaker Aspid’s future project, which is working on a GT vehicle. Aspid has released two teasers so far, which you can see below.
In the past, the Spanish company has built the SuperSport, which was based on the Lotus Seven, being some sort of racer for the road. However, like we said, this time we’ll be dealing with a more refined proposition, but this will also be based on the Lotus 7.
As for what will be under the hood, Aspid wants to offer multiple choices, including a V8 engine and a hybrid setup.
