BMW created a "beautiful monster" when they decided to create an "M" version of the popular X5 SAV. The end result was a 555 HP monster that actually looks good without too many outside interference.
The problem is that some tuners think they are better than they actually are. It is the case of ASMA Design. These guys created a complete body kit for the X5 M that actually makes it uglier.
However, one can claim it's not exclusively their fault since the Royal Customs designers chipped in for a total gruesome result. Despite the German tuner has been around for quite some time, we can't ignore the obvious: their take on the X5 M is hideous.
Maybe the body kit features some revolutionary aerodynamic improvements, in which case the ugliness will be overlooked, but we tend to think that this is not the case.
Dubai will always be interested in unique items and kitschy designs so there will always be a market for this kind of cars as long as the sheiks from the UAE will be rich enough to afford them.
