The public bicycle hire scheme turned popular quite fast among Londoners, but we’re pretty sure nobody honestly expected to have a Hollywood legend like Arnold Schwarzenegger randomly renting a bike. That's what happened this morning, as the actor is currently in the UK, promoting his latest movie Terminator Genisys.
We’re less than two weeks away from the long-expected fifth installment of the Terminator series to hit the theaters, so the crew is currently touring around the world to promote the film.
As you may well know, Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the eponymous character, along with newcomers such as Jason Clarke and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. And what better way to make your presence known if not by cycling around town on a bicycle?
After all, we know how big of an environmentalist the Terminator star is, being one of the most active Hollywood celebrities in the fight against pollution. The former bodybuilder and politician likes to motivate his fans on social media with working out messages. So he took advantage of his trip to the UK to solve more than one thing in a series of Snapchat clips he posted as he’d bike around town.
Not only did fans recognize him in traffic, but some fellow bikers also told him he should wear a helmet to stay safe. To this, the actor responded with his well-noted humor: “In case I do get hit, can you give me a list of body shops so I know where to direct the drivers to fix their cars?”
