There’s been a lot of talk lately about how bad or good the BMW F80 M3 and F82 M4 sound and how disappointing they are. Well, until we hear it live, we can’t really pick sides (even though most videos already available online seem to point to a lawnmower sound) but we do agree that they have to be impressive.
Those are proper M cars that should sound like they want to run you over all the time. The sound is part of the whole package here and if it’s not up to par, the car could be ruined.

Well, not the same can be said about a regular 3 Series. That’s the most popular model BMW is currently making and has been for nearly 30 years. In this case, the sound could be a little less provocative. After all, most of the 3ers sold are going to be used as executive cars and for that they don’t need a loud exhaust.

That doesn’t mean that all the rest of the buyers should be ignored. Out of the bunch, a few are actual dedicated people, that love to drive and work on their cars. They’re also probably looking into aftermarket parts to make their rides stand out.

For those people, Armytrix launched a new Valvetronic exhaust system that sounds absolutely incredible. It’s even better than the one on the M3 that uses an engine with the same size and architecture (3-liter turbocharged I6).

Made out of world class titanium or stainless steel, the company prides itself with the German and Japanese engineers that worked together to developed this product. Come to think of it, it does seem to have the best of both worlds. Now, without keeping you any longer, we invite you to check out the vicious sound of this 335i and let us know what you think of it. For comparison’s sake, you can also hear the M4, here.
