Back in 1998 when the original BMW Z3 M Coupe was launched the world quickly started calling it names, just like a frightened child would when afraid of something he didn’t understand.
The little Coupe did very well though, impressing everyone with its (then) impressive performance and numbers. The engine fitted on it was the same as the one used on the E46 M3, dubbed internally S54.
It had a 3.2-liter displacement and 6 cylinders positioned one behind each other, making 325 HP in Europe and 315 HP in North America but the same amount of torque on both continents, 354 Nm (261 lb-ft).
Over the years, few remained intact and even fewer were modified, like this army green one that looks dangerously good. Fortunately, the car is only wrapped in this color, in case the owner changes his mind but the way the wrap was done by the guys from The Sign Savers, you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.
By now you probably also noticed the wheels. Coming from HRE, they’re known as 501s and measure 18x8.5 inches at the front and 18x11 inches at the back, wrapped in 225/40/18 and 285/30/18 tires.
