We know this might be a little specific, but we’ve come up with a solution for a rather difficult issue. Imagine you’re a dictator and you’ve just gotten rid of the guy who takes care of your vehicle fleet. As you know, you have to make an acquisition from time to time and we’re here to bring your next car.
Leave the tensioned international relations aside for a while and consider buying something that comes from America, they make some rather solid pieces of equipment. Let’s take the Blue Oval in the adjacent images for example.

The Ford F-550 comes in many shapes and sizes, with this one being dressed as an armored vehicle. The thing is up for grabs on JamesEdition and you should really give it a good look. Think about it, it has only 186 miles (300 km) on its odometer and no sign of attacks.

The various uses (and excuses) for such a vehicle

Ironically enough, the Swat Special Forces Ford is found in the most neutral of neutral countries in the world - Switzerland. They probably used it to get around ski slopes, so you shouldn’t be worried.

The mother of any dictator still loves her child, so if your parents call, just tell them you bought a diesel. Sure, this is a V8 diesel, but details are of little importance when you’re trying to keep your mom from finding out the depths of your terror.

Oh and in case your wife asks, you can just tell her you got a new four by four. We’re pretty sure she understands the extra protection is needed. Speaking of this, the F-550 here offers a B6+ level of protection.

This means the Ford’s armor can face multiple 7.62x51mm assault rifle rounds, as specified in the CEN ballistic guidelines of the European Union - the aforementioned spec actually refers to the B6 level - the B6+ in not an internationally recognized standard, but this usually refers to the fact that the armor uses 6.5mm ballistic steel instead of the 6mm used on B6-grade vehicles.

Regardless, the armored Ford F-500 is ready to trade hands for a little under $300,000. That’s EUR242,125 at current exchange rates. But hey, you’re a dictator, so, in your country’s currency, the price can be whatever you want it to be.
