A few weeks ago we were saying that the Brabus version of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 is pretty much the ultimate version of the ultimate G-Class.
We were wrong. Dead wrong actually. About as dead as the army of zombies that won't have a chance touching you when you'll be driving this USD1,335,000.00 armored G 63 AMG 6x6 by Texas Armoring.
The car isn't finished yet, nor are the 30 units of the “regular” six-wheeled AMG monster, but that didn't stop Texas Armoring Corporation to request a 75% upfront deposit for potential clients who would like to lock down one of these units, which will be delivered at the end of 2014 apparently.
Since the standard vehicle is 3850 kg (8847 pounds), the B6+ armor plating should increase its total weight to almost 5 tons (11000 pounds).
In other words, for best results, you should get the Brabus B63S – 700 version and only then take it to Texas Armoring Corporation, since even the regular 544 hp M157 engine could struggle a bit with all that weight.
