Believe it or not it’s been almost 16 years since the world’s most expensive cars started cruising the best roads of the planet. With an average 120 drivers per edition, this year’s Gumball 3000 will have the rich driving even richer cars, and you know it. In fact, that popular has the rally become that they even have a luxury Swiss watchmaker partnering up for the first time.
Founded in 1967 by master skeletonizer Armin Strom the Swiss manufacturer prides itself on following the most challenging and finest watch making practices to create each piece. This same company will be producing an exclusive range of Gumball 3000 masterpieces dedicated to the 2015 rally. To be honest, it’s not that of a big surprise considering the director and chief horologist Claude Greisler himself competes in the event.

The participants won’t probably have any problems with spending some extra thousands of dollars to get one of the models. There are three different limited edition timepieces. Drivers and Gumball 3000 fans can opt between 18K rose gold, black PVD-coated stainless steel, and black PVD-coated titanium. The three Gumball 3000 series will be produced in numbered editions.

Specifics include a Gumball 3000 engraved 2015 tour logo at 9 o’clock and Gumball 3000 engravings on the back side. The dial ring is black with founded appliques while the time indicators are finished in red and silver. The Straps are delivered with a black leather strap and stainless steel PVD black ardillon buckle as well as an additional black rubber strap.

Prices are yet to be disclosed, but something tells us they won't come cheap.
