This week's inspection was the final step before the two organizations agreed on officially allowing the MotoGP round to become reality.

The Argentinian circuit has been inspected by Franco Uncini, FIM Safety Officer and Javier Alonso, Managing Director of the Events Area at Dorna, accompanied by Elias Miguel Suarez, head of the government cabinet in the Province of Santiago del Estero, and Ricardo Sosa, Assistant Secretary for Tourism, motogp.com informs.

Circuit managers still have to finish working on the pit lane area and other infrastructure needed to have things running smoothly for both teams and audience, but the biggest obstacle has been surmounted.

The Circuito Termas de Rio Hondo will bring MotoGP racing to Argentina after a significant pause. MotoGP last reached Argentina in 1999, but now, the season's third round is slowly drawing nearer. MotoGP returns to Argentina April 25-27.
