Well, this seems a bit of a stretch but word has it that Toyota is working with BMW on another project car besides the next Supra.
According to the Japanese magazine Best Car, Toyota and BMW are working on a new project which might get reincarnated as the next generation Lexus LFA.
They also posted a rendering of what the new supercar might look like. Yes, it does retain some Lexus elements like the bold LED headlights accompanied by the L-shaped daytime running lights and something like a spindle grille, but the rest of the design looks way off.
Anyway, judging by the fact that we haven’t heard anything from the Toyota-BMW partnership over developing a new sportscar, it’s hard to swallow this bit of information. It may just be a hoax to make the magazine sell better.
