Arden Introduces Range Rover Evoque Tuning Kit

The new Range Rover Evoque is a very fresh vehicle, so fresh, in fact, that German tuning specialist Arden has had to resort to computer graphics when revealing their new customization program for the stylish SUV.

The kit is called the AR8 City Roader and includes not only exterior mods, but also also performance goodies.

The two-door version of the luxury SUV now looks even more aggressive, thanks to the new front bumper. This features is combined with a diffuser at the back and big rectangular exhaust at the back. The side view of the vehicle is accentuated by the addition of illuminated side skirts and the massive Dakar II alloy wheels.

In the interior department, Arden can add a number of new features depending on customer preferences, with a wide variety of colours and trims being available.

The AR8 City Roader package isn’t all show and no go, as the tuner has boosted output of the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine by 30 hp, which means that the two-door Evoque has a total of 270 hp at its disposal. The extra power comes from the addition of a new sports exhaust system that features high performance catalysts.

Range Rover’s Evoque has turned the acclaimed 2008 LRX concept car into reality, faithfully capturing the spirit of its landmark cross-coupe design.

"The Range Rover Evoque marks a bold evolution of Range Rover design by adopting new interpretations of classic Range Rover design cues and staying true to the core Range Rover values. With its dramatic rising beltline, a muscular shoulder running the length of the car, and a distinctive taper to the floating roofline, the Evoque adopts a very dynamic profile with a powerful and athletic stance," Land Rover’s design director says about the car. Let’s see if this hold true for Arden’s version.
