Arai announces their Signet-Q helmet, a lid designed for American heads and the American market. If you've already raised en eyebrow, welcome to the club, because we here did so the first time we heard about this.
The truth however, makes sense: it's common knowledge that populations around the planet tend to have physical particularities and the shape of the head makes no exception. Arai took their time to measure a lot of heads in North America and then they've based their helmet design on these figures. Since the main characteristic was longer and narrower heads, small surprise to see the Arai Signet-Q with an updated shape.

Knowing that the shape of the head is just as important as the size of the helmet, Arai have created a new interior shape which should be a better, snug fit for the North American riders' heads. Though similar to the RX-Q lid, the Arai Signet-Q sports a different, updated interior.

The Arai Signet-Q comes with the patent-pending Facial Contour Support cheekpad design and the Emergency Cheeckpad Release system and the peel-away 5mm temple sidepads for the optimal fit. The new helmets are delivered with a Pinlock Max-Vision clear visor and come in size SX through XXL in 24 colors and graphic schemes.

You can get your Arai Signet-Q for a MSRP ranging between $619.95 and $759.95 (€480-588).
