Arai announces Nicky Hayden's RX-7 GP "Hayden Peace" replica helmets, now available on special order.
Wearing a war helmet for peace may sound a bit weird, but when it comes to Nicky Hayden's Indianapolis MotoGP lid, things are as smooth and nice as it gets. The helmet the Kentucky Kid wore came with Full Metal Jacket-inspired graphics and was a truly lovely piece of helmet art, by all means.
Hayden's message is one of peace, so if you'd rather ride than go to war and kill someone, maybe this is the best way to show your support for peace,
The Starline-customized lid can be pre-ordered for €1,049 ($1,390) and it is scheduled to arrive in February 2014, complete with a full kit and a rebate voucher offering 10% off your next Arai purchase.
Arai does not specify how many of these lids will be made, but I wouldn't bet this offer will last for too long.
