A few months ago, Italian bike builder, Aprilia presented the RSV4 X, an exclusive version of the RSV4 1100 that won seven WSBK titles. This ultra-exclusive variant was sold out in just a few hours at the time. Sure, that wasn't very hard, given the fact that only ten of them will ever be made.
The lucky ten people that purchased the bike at the time will soon get delivery of their bikes, the company said, right off the floor of the Aprilia facility where they are made.

The bike is meant for "those planning to compete at high level in production-derived championships or who want a RSV4 with performance optimised for track-use."

It uses a 1,078 cc V4 engine tweaked by Aprilia Racing into developing 225 hp, up from the usual 217 hp on the standard model. The RSV4 X weighs just 165 kg,

From a design standpoint, the bike features dedicated graphics, meant to remind of the ones used on the 2019 MotoGP Aprilia RS-GP. Billet aluminum cues are to be found all over the place: on the clutch lever, the front brake lever guard, the engine sump guards, the adjustable footpegs and the upper steering plate.

Built-in honor of the ten year anniversary of the RSV4 (hence the 10 units production run) the bike is priced at €39,900.

"The Aprilia RSV4 sets the benchmark in terms of sports riding and performance, the ultimate example of what can be achieved by harnessing the valuable experience of a winning Racing Department like that of Aprilia which, throughout its short history, has scored 54 world titles, seven of which in the SBK world championship," said the company in a statement when the bike was introduced.

"Skills honed on the track and transferred to the factory product to provide everyone with the same sensations that the motorbikes prepared by Aprilia Racing do."
