Nothing compares to classic motorcycles of the past, and if you’re already a fan, don’t forget to attend one of the most important retro bike gathering that will take place in May.
Quail Motorcycle Gathering has announced its schedule, preparing to hold the 9th annual meeting on May 6th, 2017. Like the preceding years, the event will be held at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club located in Carmel Valley, California.
The gathering will feature a large selection of the finest and rarest vintage and modern motorcycles as well as leading motorsport and lifestyle vendors, food, beverages, live music, and family entertainment.
One hundred motorcyclists will be making their way through the Monterey Peninsula on The Quail Ride starting on Friday, May 5th where all the fun begins. The next day, the festivities will continue when the attendees gather on the Quail Lodge lawn for the Gathering itself.
Along with traditional classes, this year will be featuring Norton Motorcycles as it celebrates 50 years of the Commando model. If you are owning one, or simply want to showcase your retro machine at the gathering, you can fill out this form here.
Tickets are on sale now, and you can take advantage of the holiday discounts by purchasing online by the end of the year. In case you miss the opportunity, tickets will also be available at the gate throughout the day of the event.
Also, if you want to book a room at the Quail Lodge to be closer to the action, you should hurry up and do it now as the number of rooms available is limited. Rooms and rates are based on availability at the time of booking and can not be guaranteed. Keep in mind that a two-night minimum stay is required.
