In a recent interview for MotorTrend, the chef and host of "Bizarre Foods America", "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern" and originally "Bizarre Foods", Andrew Zimmern admitted that he absolutely loves BMWs and owns 2 of them.
His (and his wife's) weapons of choice are a BMW E60 535i and a BMW E70 X5. However, he mostly drives the sportier sedan whilst his wife goes city blazing in the Sports Activity Vehicle.

"My relationship with my car is very personal. I love it. It's the perfect car for me. It's a great sedan. It looks good when I'm driving with my lovely wife (Rishia). It's actually a great family car. And in terms of get up and go when I need it to get up and go, I've never been able to say that it didn't," he said.

The engine on the 535i should provide plenty of grunt for the celebrity chef, as it's a 3-liter turbocharged unit with 306 HP and 400 Nm of torque at its disposal. However, he recently drove a couple of Italian supercars and they can become pretty addictive.

Over the years he stayed true to the first car he ever bought, a 1957 Postal Jeep, buying Gran Cherokees for 5 consecutive generations but at one point, getting more and more disappointed with the experience those cars provided, he decided to switch to German premium cars.

"During the wintertime, the Grand Cherokees were cold on the passenger side and every winter my wife would say to me, 'When are we going to get a car that actually heats when it says it's going to heat?'" he explained about the Jeeps.

"It was one of those things we always laughed about, and at one point we just looked at each other and said, 'We have the house in 'burbs, we have the 1.5 kids, the cat, the dog. Let's get a sedan and a family car and switch it up," he added.

All in all, Andrew is a great guy and knows and is always looking for ways to drive as many cars as possible because he simply enjoys them. We really recommend reading the full story at MotorTrend.
