Bentley used this year’s edition of the Paris Auto Show to offer the world a revamped version of the Continental GT (2011 version). The vehicle has an interesting story, as it will also be available with a V8 engine that is currently co-developed by Bentley and Audi. But we’re not here to talk about this. Instead, this piece of news brings the words “new”, “tuning package” and “2010 Bentley Continental GT Speed” together.
Anderson Germany just can’t seem to be able to let the old Continental go, as the company is introducing an aftermarket package for the 2010 Continental GT Speed. The new offer, which uses the Elegance Edition name, comes after the tuner released a modification pack for the 2010 Continental Supersports at the beginning of last month.
The vehicle’s W12 engine has been gifted with a new air filter, a high-performance exhaust, as well as an ECU remap. The exhaust uses a special remote-controlled valve that allows the driver to choose between three noise levels. The engine now delivers 695 hp. This is a power kit similar to that introduced for the Conti Supersports in October.
The vehicle now uses an aerodynamics package that makes uses of carbon fiber and comprises a reworked front (LED daytime running lights and new chrome grille included) and rear bumpers, a new hood with generously-sized air intakes and fresh side skirts. Only 150 mortals (or less, if someone decided to buy more than one) will enjoy the creation.
The interior hasn’t been overlooked, receiving carbon fiber trimming as well as a black leather finish with contrasting white stitching.
