Ever since the supercars first came to the world in the 50s, they have conquered the hearts of automotive enthusiasts worldwide (and not only) with their immense power and bewildering looks.
The vehicles we are talking about are alive in the stratosphere of the car world and are the subject of our wildest dreams.
A car that aims to (virtually) be placed among members of this motorized elite is the AMV-R. This is a concept created by Alexei Mikhailov. The project, which was debuted three years ago, is a cocktail of Italian and German styling.
“AMV-R is an acronym for auto. motive. visual. racing, a vision I set out to realize 3 years ago. A supercar design, which visually entices senses of emotion through the physical world,” the artist introduces its creation.
We like modesty, but there are some exceptions though. We’re more than thrilled that Mikhailov thought that his car should use no less than 10 cylinders that develop around 850 hp.
Here’s how the designer sees his creature : “The design of the supercar, is an intermix of Italian and German styling, a balance of exotic and precise surface flow which composes the body shell. The theoretical power plant of the car would include a highly efficient twin turbo V 10 engine, generating 850hp”
“This concept supercar design is not a prototype, nor is it planned for production,” the artist concludes, maybe throwing a subliminal message at automotive producers.
Our say: This is a fine piece of automotive eye-candy, but we can’t help notice that it may share one too many design cues with the Pagani Zonda.
