Honda is trying to convince us that the words “hybrid” and “sporty” do belong in the same sentence by releasing the CR-Z model.

However, there are many who beg to differ. Most of them criticize the vehicle’s performance, saying that it would need to be improved.

AMS now comes to solve the problem by releasing... an exterior (wide) body kit for the car. The kit, which uses the Terra name, brings new rims and multiple aerodynamic elements.

At the front of the car, the tuner has fitted a redesigned fascia that brings an aggressive lower side and interesting front grille element, as well as a set of eyelids. The front wings and the rear ones are now wider (they have gained 15 and 70 mm, respectively). The side skirts come with a new designs, include air inlets placed behind the rear wheels and have also been widened (by 30 mm) to match the rest of the body kit.

The package also includes a roof lip and a rear spoiler, as well as a rear diffuser that uses an out-of-this-world design and houses a double center exhaust.

The AMS Honda CR-Z Terra rides on 19 inch RAYS Versus Torismo Rechente rims, which use a two tone piano black and pearl white finish.

We decided to see for ourselves if the (stock) CR-Z is a sporty ride or just a hybrid in running shoes, so we took the car for a test-drive. You can read the review by following this link.
