AMG Driving Academy Now Includes SLS AMG and E 63 AMG

German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz announced today that participants can now choose to experience two new cars at its dedicated AMG Driving Academy, namely the SLS AMG Gullwing and the E 63 AMG. During the AMG Driving Academy events, such as the AMG PRO Training, AMG PRO Training SLS AMG and the AMG MASTERS Sports Trophy - the SLS AMG is also available as a hire car.

Founded in 2007, the AMG Driving Academy is divided into five different skill levels: EMOTION, BASIC, ADVANCED, PRO and MASTERS. The team of instructors includes former DTM, ITC and FIA-GT champion Bernd Schneider, as well as Bernd Mayländer, the driver of the Official F1 Safety Car.

Participants are taught how to master the physical limits of driving in complete safety, at legendary race tracks such as the North Loop of the Nürburgring or the Grand Prix circuit at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Recently, the AMG Driving Academy was made possible for American enthusiasts as well, with courses taking place at the Laguna Seca Raceway in California.

One special event is the AMG Winter Sporting in Arjeplog (Sweden), close to the Arctic Circle, where AMG vehicles are driven exclusively on ice. All of them are fitted with special, spiked tires for better grip.

Racetrack training is also available in the new E 63 AMG, the C 63 AMG, SL 63 AMG, SLK 55 AMG and the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, with the new SLS AMG reserved exclusively for the event on the Laguna Seca Raceway.

Prices for the AMG Driving Academy programs start from 290 euros.
