Mercedes’ collaboration with the Cigarette Racing Team is bringing us another AMG-related boat and this time we are talking about the 42 Huntress, which is inspired by the G63 AMG.
The creation mixes technical assets that build on the Team’s racing experience with luxury features, such as an ultra-luxurious deck and a well-gifted cabin. The Cigarette 42 Huntress is scheduled to make its debut on February 14, at the Miami International Boat Show.

The muscle comes from five Mercury Racing Verado 350SCi engines delivering 350 hp each. These manage to push the 8,572 kg (18,900 lbs), 42-feet (12.8 meters) boat to a top speed of 125 km/h (78 mph).

As for the connection with the G63 AMG, Mercedes explains that, just like its SUV can handle all types of terrain, the boat is able to handle “glassy seas” or “rough water environments” thanks to its compact and strong structure.

You can find the full details of the 42 Huntress in the press release below (PDF file).
