Amego Wind is yet another electric scooter for cross-town errands, offering a range of 40-45 km (25-28 miles) for a full charge.
This distance is more than enough for most people who would ride to work, and that's for coming back, also. However, with the small costs of fueling these electric vehicles, one could charge the Wind at work and then ride back home with ease.
Given the fact that the Amego Wind battery is a classic lead acid one, it comes with a rather long charging time of 7 to 9 hours. The 29.4 kg (65 lbs) 48V 20 Ah unit is removable and comes with 500 cycles, feeding a 500w high-torque engine which can drive the Wind up to 32 km/h (20 mph).
The Amego Wind rolls with 10” wheels and hydraulic disc brakes providing dependable stopping force for the 130 kg (287 lbs) machine. And with a $2,050 (€1,566) price tag you could easily start saving money if riding on a daily basis.
