The AltRider crash bars are made in 1.25" stainless steel tube and will be available for both the 2012 and the 2013 models. They come with instructions in English and all the required mounting accessories: Loctite, high-quality fasteners and T40/T55 drivers. AltRider claims that a rider with basic mechanical skills could have the crash bars installed in 30-45 minutes, too.

Having these guards installed offers enhanced protection for the clutch, starter, starter clutch assembly, and the stator, while keeping the upper fairings, blinkers shift and brake levers off from the ground as you tip the bike. And you will, too.

A nice feature is the billet anodized aluminium bar end caps with provide watertight sealing for the miniature stash inside the very guards. 4.75" (12cm) of inside-the-tube for small belongings) is not a big deal, but we totally dig this.

The AltRider Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Crash Bars will be available in late spring for $238.6 (€183), pre-orders available.
