The last Fox Body Mustang rolled off the production line about twenty years ago, but the car is still popular with various tuning shops.
Regarded as one of the best cars to be converted into a dragster, the third-generation pony has caught the attention of the guys over at Creations n' Chrome as well, who embarked on a long road of developing the ultimate Fox Body Mustang.
Announced over one year ago, and showcased at the 2012 SEMA Show in an almost-finished setup, their Top Notch Mustang is now ready to hit the drag strip with an amazing 855 horsepower and 667 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, coming from a Vortech-supercharged Aluminator 5.0-liter V8 engine.
We know you've been introduce to more powerful cars through our website, but how many of them weighed just a little bit over 2,500 pounds (1,134 kg)? This may not be just the ultimate Fox Body Mustang, but a very respectable true-to-the-bone musclecar that could match some of Shelby's or Roush's latest offerings.
Creations n' Chrome plans on entering this rear-wheeled-powered asphalt bender in a variety of standing mile competitions, but until then we'll have to settle for some dyno action, as seen below.
