Looking at this BMW M235i you might have to squint your eyes. If it’s not due to the setting sun in the background it’s because of the way it looks with those M Performance Parts on. It’s absolutely stunning.
When BMW launched the 2 Series, not everyone rushed to welcome it into the world, some even claiming it’s ugly. Well, we never saw it that way, sorry. Around here, we think it’s actually quite good looking, especially in the M Sport guise.

This car, featured below, belongs to a 2addicts member and was shot by Marcel Langer, the man who managed to brilliantly capture every side of it on film and showcase it to the world.

As far as we can tell, apart from the usual M Sport aerodynamic kit all M235i get from BMW as standard, this Alpine White model is also featuring a generous part of the M Performance catalog.

Up front we noticed a carbon fibre splitter moving towards the back some M Performance side sills welcomed us as well as some M Performance wheels while round the back the M Performance tailpipes couldn’t be missed out on as well as the carbon fibre boot lid spoiler.

All in all, the owner must’ve payed a pretty penny for his ride but it’s we reckon he’s pretty satisfied with it. We loved the car we had to our review and it wasn’t nearly as good looking or as expensive.

That 3-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine makes 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque but that’s only part of the story. It also sounds pretty good and keeps your back stuck to the seat all the way up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a trip that takes only 4.8 seconds when using Launch Control and an automatic 8-speed gearbox. It feels a lot faster though.

Consumer Reports just claimed that the M235i is nearly perfect, giving it a score of 98 out of 100 possible and that, once again, says a lot about this little Coupe. Prices start at $43,100 for the standard car but they can easily go up and over $50,000 without any M Performance Parts... Even so, compared to its competition, it’s the cheapest choice out there.
