The new BMW X5 is a thing of beauty but I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder. That being said, this particular editor loves the way it turned out. Maybe it’s because I just spent a weekend aboard one but nevertheless, I liked it before too.
If money wasn’t an issue, I’m pretty sure a lot of people would choose it over its competitors and over its smaller siblings as well. Since for some people the financial part is nothing to worry about, we get to see some really exciting projects done all over the world, involving BMW’s biggest SUV at the moment.

Projects like the one we’re about to show you, done by the guys from One Eighty NYC. Their base car was a 2015 BMW F15 X5 dressed in Alpine White fitted with the M Sport package as well.

However, those new bumpers and badges all around weren’t enough for the owner that decided to spice things up a little. Therefore, his car got the M Performance treatment. In this regard, the tuner installed a new front splitter, kidney grilles, rear spoiler, diffuser with side splitters, side skirt decals, mirror covers, shift knob trim (that we would’ve stayed away from to be honest) and pedals.

Basically, his car received almost all the parts in the M Performance catalogue. That wasn’t it, though. On top of all these goodies, the wheels were also powdercoated in Gloss Black, the springs were changed with lowering ones from H&R and wheel spacers can now be found on all four corners of the car (12 mm up front and 15 mm round the back).

With less than 300 miles (500 km) on the odometer, this BMW is surely going to turn some heads. That doesn’t matter that much though unless the owner is happy with his choice. We’re guessing he has a big grin on whenever he’s driving around town.
