HRE are constantly pushing the boundary on forged wheels. Their products are getting more and more popular amongst the BMW community, being even featured in one of Jay Leno's episodes on Youtube.
The owner of this Alpine White 5er knew that if he wanted quality aftermarket wheels he should visit HRE. And so he did and came out of their shop with a new set of wheels.
Not just any wheels though, his are called HRE P43SC and measure 20 inches in diameter. Furthermore, they are monoblock forged out of Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum for maximum strength-to-weight ratio.
Unlike what we're used to seeing when companies decide to showcase their wheels, this car is no high-performance M5, but a 'mere' 520d, with a 'mere' 184 HP and mere (yes, no apostrophes) fuel consumption of 4.1 l/100km (50 mpg).
It may not be a champion of speed but it definitely is a champion of fuel consumption and looks!
