Alpina, the company specialized in modifying BMWs without altering their OEM look, has revealed a teaser for its upcoming B7 sedan.
The B7 is Alpina’s version of the BMW 7 Series, and the model appears to have been thoroughly tested in dynamic driving conditions, as the teaser video reveals. As you know, BMW does not offer an M version of the 7 Series, so the Alpina B7 could cater to those customers looking for more performance out of this model without losing the premium features of the car.

From previous spyshots, we know Alpina made some aesthetic changes to the 7 Series in the process of turning it into a B7. The car features a new front bumper, complete with an air splitter with the famous Alpina lettering on it. The B7 also comes with a new trunk, whose lid has been altered for increased aerodynamic downforce without introducing a wing. The company is surely including a new set of alloy wheels on the B7, as it usually does for each model it makes.

The suspension and the power plant will be modified by the manufacturer of exclusive automobiles. Most likely, the company will go for the twin-turbo V8 engine and raise its power level above the 540 HP the previous B7 used to make.

As usual, Alpina will tend to the B7’s interior to make it unique, but without losing anything in quality, finish or functionality. We are confident the car will get the company’s logo on the steering wheel, along with the signature green stitching, their white-on-blue instrument cluster and their many personalized trim elements.

Alpina has a privileged position with BMW, as it is officially recognized in BMW dealerships and their chassis are sent directly from the manufacturer. The company's excellent integration into the BMW network is well seen by German authorities as well, the Buchloe-based company being considered an automaker, not just a tuner.
