Alpina Showcases Its B7 Bi-Turbo Model with New Photos

Back in 2009, just one year after the F01 7 Series entered production, Alpina released their own B7 Bi-Turbo version. It was based on the 550Li 7er and had 140 extra HP over the standard Bimmer.

Fast forward 3 years and in 2012 BMW releases a mid-generation facelift for the 7er, the so called Life-Cycle-Impulse. Of course, Alpina took initiative immediately and just a couple of months later they released the LCI version of their B7, an even more beautiful car.

Amongst the many improvements Alpina did to the car you'll find a new 8-speed automatic transmission, called SWITCH-TRONIC, that allows the engine to work even more efficient while also keeping the emission levels in control resulting in a fuel consumption of 9.9 l/100km (23.7 mpg) and 230 g/km CO2.

The new photos published by the German tuner on their Facebook page are just a kind reminder of what an Alpina car actually stand for: luxurious performance combined with hand-finished exclusivity.
