At the moment, there’s no configurator available but we’re pretty sure you can configure your ideal car on Alpina’s own website and then send the preferred model to your local dealership and get the exact car you want delivered to your doorstep. For a price.

On the website you can, however, learn everything there is to know about it, from specs, engine and performance to the design exclusive features and other unique stuff, available only at the Buchloe-based tuner/manufacturer.

To save you some time, we’ll tell you that the B6 xDrive Gran Coupe model is based on BMW’s own 650i 4-door coupe but was drastically changed to make even more power and more torque out of the 4.4-liter V8 fitted under the bonnet.

The car makes 540 HP and 540 lb-ft (732 lb-ft) of torque, all of which is being sent to all four corners of the car through the xDrive system and the revised automatic 8-speed gearbox in the middle. With such numbers the B6 is actually faster than the M6 Gran Coupe made by BMW’s own Motorsport division, with a 0-60 mph sprint of 3.7 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster. Pricing for such a beauty starts at $118,225 and can rapidly go up to $150,000.
