Since the 3 Series Coupe will soon be history, being replaced by the new 4 Series model, Alpina will definitely have to come up with a replacement model too.
Considering the 3 Series Coupe and Sedan share the same name at the Buchloe-based manufacturer, the upcoming possible model could be name simply B4. Usually, Alpina launches their new cars at Geneva so, we'll probably have to wait until next year to see if the rumors are true.
Meanwhile, various artist started imagining and designing how the new car might look like. The first one comes from Dejan Hriston, the one that also brought us the impressive Rapp Concept Car.
His take on the 4er features the classic Alpina turbine wheels, a front bumper lip with the Alpina logo on it and the classic side stripes. Apparently he forgot to replace the BMW roundel on the bonnet but we'll forgive him this time.
At the back, the tailpipes are packed in two pairs and the boot lid was reshaped and features a more prominent shape that is probably supposed to increase the downforce at high speeds.
Overall, this is a quite accurate rendering and we could expect the upcoming B4 to look like this. Keep your fingers crossed.
