We can definitely say that scramblers are back with quite a bang, and looking at the last sketches from Nicolas Petit, we just know our broad smile will be on more faces as they see this new concept.
Initially developed more in the vein of oldschool scramblers and drawing its cues from a modern re-iteration of such machines, the liquid-cooled R1200GS imagined by Petit might be a winner in Wunderlich's roster of modding kits.

What started as a modern re-working of the Derbi 659 Mulhacen ended up as a glorious design showing impeccable retro looks... of we can skip the massive boxer power unit.

With an R80-ish sculpted tank and chunky front end, the R1200GS Scrambler evokes the glorious moto days of yore: dual megaphone exhausts, fat knobby tires and a tuck and roll stitched seat with classic look but modern ergonomics. And the revised steel tube frame looks like a million buks, too!

All that's needed now is a skidplate and... being actually fabricated.
