The official reveal of the Volvo S90 full-size luxury sedan is about four hours away from happening in Gothenburg. However, several official photos have leaked out, and we're sure loyal fans of the Swedish brand will love what they see.
The leaked photos are not a huge deal since scale models of the S90 have been released by Chinese websites on multiple occasions. However, the first glimpses of the production interior are hugely exciting for us.

As everybody expected, the interior of the S90 is just as de-cluttered as that of the XC90. You can count the physical buttons on the dashboard on one hand. Most of the controls, including the air conditioning, have been squeezed into the Tesla-like portrait tablet.

We seem to be looking at the top-spec S90 Inscription trim level with the best perforated leather and the Bowers & Wilkins sound system. On the XC90, that includes 19 speakers and was one of the major highlights of our recent review.

As we've mentioned, the design of the S90 is already familiar. Thor's hammer takes center stage as the LED accent piece that cuts across the headlights. Compared to the XC90, this sedan is a little more masculine, featuring a motorsport wing motif for the bottom of the bumper and recessed air intakes.

The back end also gives the S-Class a run for its money, thanks to trapezoidal exhaust tips and an overdose of red light from those sexy Swedish jewels. This company's logos are a little bit more discreet than those from Mercedes-Benz, but "Volvo" is written in large font on the trunk and a chrome broach dominates the grille.

The engine range will be almost unrecognizable from the outgoing S80, as everything has been replaced by Volvo's Drive-E 2.0-liter block. Infuriatingly, these leaked photos we got from Autoblog.nl don't show the badge. But this S90 appears to be the T6 with a twin-charged 2-liter engine, 320 horsepower and all-wheel drive. You just need to look at the XC90 to understand that the S90 will offer everything from a basic 190 hp diesel to a 400 hp plug-in hybrid.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
