All-New Maserati Quattroporte Enters Production

While we treated this piece of news with a fair degree of skepticism, it seems that the guys over at quattroruote.it are pretty convinced that the all-new Maserati Quattroporte has entered production at the Grugliasco factory, just outside Turin, Italy.

Apparently, the first pre-production model has apparently already been assembled. The factory will be the only production site for the new Quattroporte, as well as Maserati’s new 5-Series rival, a smaller car (probably called the ‘Levante’) which should account for most of the 50,000 production figure that the factory is capable of achieving.

The start of production has put Turin on the map as an important town for the manufacturing of luxury cars - a title any European city would definitely envy. Let’s just hope there are no glitches, so that we can lay eyes on the car, as we expect it to be a real looker.
