Although we're still waiting on official word from Audi UK, we've learned that the all-new third generation TT coupe is indeed available in some British showrooms already. One example has been on display in the M25 Audi dealership in Watford since last Friday and the company's main website even has a list price of £29,770 advertised.
Production of the new TT coupe has already begun at Audi's factory in Hungary about a week ago, and as you can see in the photo, right-hand drive versions have also been made.

Two choices of powertrain are available right now, either a 181bhp (184 PS) 2.0 TDI diesel with a six-speed manual and available only in FWD or a 227bhp (230 PS) 2.0 TFSI that's available with quattro all-wheel drive and S tronic six-speed gearbox.

The diesel TT's main attribute is fuel economy, boasting a very impressive 67.2 mph combined with CO2 emissions of only 110 grams per kilometer, probably making it the cleanest non-hybrid coupe on the market. Despite this, with 0 to 62mph in 7.1 seconds, it's faster than a Toyota GT 86. The petrol version is built for performance and it's even quicker than a Golf GTI. When launch control is activated on the quattro model 62 mph is deal with in only 5.3 seconds.

Standard kit on UK models includes 18-inch wheels, Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI radio and a 3-spoke leather-trimmed multi-function Sports steering wheel and LED taillights.

On both TDI and TFSI models, you can improve the looks by selecting the optional S line body kit, which unfortunately increases the price of the TT to £32,320. Still, the TT S line has larger 19-inch wheels, a body kit, metal inlays for the door sills and better interior trim. The 310 horsepower TTS will arrive a few months later and serve as flagship until the TT-RS is ready.
