All-New Audi Q7 Commercials Talk About Legends and Monsters

Boy, these Audi commercials are so good, we had to take a few moments and figure out what we're supposed to say about them. Being an SUV, the Q7 flagship model is obviously the most competent quattro model. But the way they're selling it, you'd think we all live in fairy tail.

The first and best commercial we're presenting is called "The Legend" and features a tribe of Inuit people, living in some of the harshest conditions Mother Nature offers. They cope with the snow quite well, thanks to their fur coats, but a monster is terrorizing their village and causing unrest.

But then a champion called "quattro" arrives, being as powerful as an avalanche, as agile as a lynx and a spirit that drives fear into the hearts of the enemy.

Obviously, this ad was inspired by the famous "Moby Dick" commercials where a recovery man never manages to tow a stuck quattro car.

The second video is called "The all-new Audi Q7. The Legend continues." and it consists of a series of art pieces. The general feel is similar to an indie PC game, and the style is very pleasing, despite static. You have to commend Audi for doing something for the kids!

Built on an all-new MLB platform, the second-generation Q7 is much better than its predecessor. Not only lighter, but also more efficient, the SUV has a smaller footprint hiding a large 7-seater cabin.

Since these ads are from Britain, we'll also talk a bit about pricing and specifications there. The only two engines available at the moment are 3-liter TDI diesels. The base unit offers 218 PS of power and can be yours for £46,925 while the more powerful 272 PS model is £2,500 extra. There is a multitude of options available, ranging from safety features to air suspension and tablet PCs for the back seats.
