All-New 2013 Lexus LS Sedan to Debut on July 30

Lexus has received positive reviews for the GS and they seem confident they can make a profit out of the Made-in-Japan luxury car brand. Next up on the to-do list is the LS, their flagship sedan model. According to an official statement, the LS will make its debut in San Francisco on Monday, July 30th as part of a "special invitation-only event".

The all-ned sedan will be a 2013 model year and will be offered as the LS 460, LS 460 L long wheelbase, LS 600h L hybrid and a new configuration -the LS 460 F Sport, with revised suspension and a sportier look.

More details should be made available by the Japanese automaker as the 2013 makes its debut at 8:30 pm EDT. The event will be webcast live via Facebook. Look for an upscale version of the spindle grille seen on the GS.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
